Apparently, no we are not. We've gone over 1000 miles, crossed through a lot of states and driven multiple days, but we are still not there. Oh well. Guess we'll just keep going then. Today was long. not longer time wise, of course, but longer mentally. So long. Personally I started off my day with a nice long slumber, waking up a good two hours into our drive (and most of the way through Minnesota). Mom decided to give dad a break at the wheel, and took her turn rambling along. We ate lunch at a roadside truck stop, amongst the thousand and thousand of windmills in Minnesota, and even visited the Corn Palace, which, oddly enough, is a small museum about corn. We now rest in Presho (AKA middle of nowhere), South Dakota, where we have happily added two more states to our rambling map.
Must be nice to be able to be able to sleep through the miles! Your mom looks thrilled :) Seems like you guys are making great progress. What an amazing trip!
